I don’t think I quite compete with them. (Again, not meant to be a self-potshot, discouragement… more in awareness that I’ve lotsa growing to do. I’m okay with this reality and am driven by it.)
Though I’ve been arting for some time of it and WAS aware of Brush Presets for a long long time.
Fer some reason, seeing your art made me want to give the feature a serious shake. I’m loving it and wondering why in the hell it took me so long to get around to experimenting with it. :I
And thank you all you talented beautiful people in this fandom that inspire me to try new techniques. :3
And here’s my crack at Professor Pemzini’s style. Also, theirs and the work of their twin (which I may also do an emulation piece fer if I can) probably served as major catalysts for why I’m in this fandom in the first place. So thank you so much for the brilliant eye candy you provide, the both of you. ^_^
This easily took me 2-4x longer than the other challenges I’ve completed yetsofar, but I am satisfied and I believe it was worth it.
Say hello to mister Inkler (a-freaking-gain), also please to be tilting your screen? (I swear, just by existing. *Twitch.*)
… and remembering how much I like rendering them for an Art Class makes me want to some day take a crack at emulating some of my favorite fandom artists. Someday.
Here’s a running tally for all the Ask Blogs (27, as of posting) that I follow. (Mostly Lorax-related. With some that have spun off and at least one for a different fandom.)
This is also not the FULL list like the one swaggermimint’s master post, just the ones I follow… good gawd I don’t think I could do that. (I can only follow so much awesome. :<)
You can look at this as a kudos/personal recommendation post if you’d like (with little comments for each to the best that I could conceive.).
